Love the axe. The guys kept me updated through the process even during the delays due to casting. Awesome company to work with and I cannot wait to use the tool on an actual call!
The first thought that went through my mind when I picked up this 10 pound beauty was "I need to smash through something". A wall, window, door, roof, anything! I just needed to start hitting things! And boy does it hit! I can tell there is a lot more experience that went into the design that I haven't discovered yet: I can see my past wishes in this axe and can tell there is more to be discovered. If that makes sense.
I added a fire maul glow wrap after several days of thought. I really like the handle that it lawless comes with, but have come to trust the extra grip (especially when wet) with the grip wrap.
I hope there is a lighter/ shorter version in the works! I've loved the Piglet (Lone Star Axe) and I think a Lawless could easily take over. I sure as heck ain't waiting to place my order! 6 (7 in total) months was a long wait!
After recently receiving my axe and putting it to use, this is hands down the best fire tool in its category that I've ever used. Very versatile and strong.
